Antigen test mandatory for people traveling via land route

Kathmandu:The government has decided to test the antigen of every citizen entering Nepal through Nepal-India land route. A recent cabinet meeting has decided to test the antigen of Nepali citizens by stopping the entry of foreign nationals.

According to Ministry of Home Affairs, the local governments will manage the antigen test of the citizens entering through the border side. However, it will have to coordinate with the provincial government. Likewise, everyone coming via land route has to stay in quarantine for 10 days.

Public buildings, hotels and party palaces in the locality can also be used for quarantine management.
