Kathmandu: Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 1,157 people in the last 24 hours.
According to the health ministry, 335 people have been found infected in the Kathmandu Valley. Of them, 28 have been confirmed in Bhaktapur, 42 in Lalitpur and 265 in Kathmandu district.
In the last 24 hours, 1,113 infected people have been recovered while eight people died.
Currently, 18,193 people are actively infected with the coronavirus. Of these, 1,315 are in institutional isolation.
Similarly, 16,878 people are in home isolation.
