Kathmandu: The Airlines Operators Association Nepal (AOAN) has threaten to halt air services from Wednesday.

Stating that the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has implemented a provision that cannot be fulfilled, the association has announced to halt all flights including emergency from Wednesday.

Citing the parking problem at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) alone, the CAAN has implemented the provision of parking aircraft outside Kathmandu valley as well.

However, the airline operators have refused the decision and threatened to halt the flights.

Meanwhile, CAAN has warned airline operators they are not allowed to halt essential services. If they do so, the CAAN has warned to take action against them.
