Kathmandu: Actor Anmol KC has returned the Rs 10 lakh he took from the producer of ‘Ravayan’ movie. He returned the money to producer through the police.
Actor KC, who was arrested in case of financial transaction dispute, was released on Sunday and handed over a cheque in the name of producer Supriya aka Chandrakala Katuwal at District Police Office, Kathmandu on Monday.
Producer Katuwal filed a complaint against Anmol in the controversy of the film ‘Ravayan’. It was mentioned in the complaint that KC committed financial betrayal by refusing to work in the film even after receiving an advance of 10 lakh rupees.
Police arrested KC from Sanga in Bhaktapur on Friday evening.
