Kathmandu: Activist Iih is set to commence a foot journey from Lumbini to Singha Durbar, starting on Sunday, with the aim of urging the federal government to intervene in supporting street vendors, managing the informal sector, and addressing urban poverty.

The journey, scheduled from February 11 to February 19, will be documented on Twitter (X), inviting concerned individuals to join and support the cause. Iih has outlined three key demands, focusing on formulating administrative policies for street vendors, safeguarding the interests of the urban poor, and supporting initiatives to manage street vendors and promote the informal sector.

This journey also aligns with solidarity events in support of the justice march against loan sharking.
