Kathmandu: Industrialists have started initiatives to start cargo transportation services from the second international airport, Gautam Buddha International Airport.
Kuwait’s airline Jazeera Airways is flying 3 days a week at the airport. The company has also announced to regular flight soon.
Amid this, businessmen are interested in the cargo flight as the flight will take place seven days a week from September. A team of cargo companies including Topline World Wide Cargo and Secure Freight International discussed this with Bhairahawa Airport and local businessmen last week.
In the discussion, the businessmen said that goods produced in Nepal can be sent from Bhairahawa to Kathmandu, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and also to Europe, America and Canada through air cargo.
