Kathmandu: The government has appointed senior captain Dipu Jwarchan to lead the Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) in the absence of both the posts of executive chairman and general manager.
Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Prem Ale has given a temporary responsibility to Jwarchan.
He has taken his office responsibility starting from today (Friday). He has been temporarily appointed as the General Manager by the cabinet. He, however, is allowed to fly aircraft.
The post was vacant after the government suspended Yuvaraj Adhikari.
