Kathmandu: The Supreme Court has continued the order to keep the action against Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) as it is.
With this order, the governor will be able to continue working.
A bench of Justices Sapana Pradhan Malla and Tanka Bahadur Moktan on Friday upheld the earlier interim order. Earlier, a bench of Justice Hari Phuyal had issued a short-term interim order directing the governor to return to work, saying that the provision of having a former Supreme Court judge should be clarified.
The Supreme Court has given continuity to the interim order after concluding the continuous hearing for three days. The Supreme Court will now regularly hear the original case. Until then, the governor will be able to work regularly.
