(Rashtriya Samachar Samiti): Kuwait’s Jazeera Airways is set to launch its first commercial flight at Gautam Buddha International Airport, a project of national pride.
Jazeera has applied to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) for regular flights from May 12 (on the ocassion of Buddha Jayanti).
According to CAAN Deputy Director General Dev Chandra Lal Karna, Jazeera has applied for a regular daily flight. Jazeera will fly Kuwait-Bhairahawa-Kuwait directly. Jazeera is currently operating regular flights at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu.
Deputy Director General Karna informed that commercial international flights will be opened from May 12 after the test flight. He also said that all the necessary preparations have been completed for the commercial flight.
