Kathmandu: New applications for driver’s licenses will be halted from Tuesday.
The Department of Transportation has issued a notice on Tuesday stating that the online application has been closed until further notice.
The department has stated that the online application will be closed as the online application received so far has to be finalized.
Due to a large number of applications for licenses, those who apply online now have an office visit time of up to two years.
The department has stated that the pressure of the applicants has increased as the license examination has been halted for a long time due to the Corona epidemic.
