Kathmandu: Minister for Communications and Information Technology Gyanendra Bahadur Karki has directed Nepal Telecom to immediately commence 5G test.
Stating that the Nepal Telecommunication Authority has already given approval for the test Minister Karki directed Nepal Telecom (NT) to complete the test and start providing service to the public as soon as possible.
Speaking at an event organized in Kathmandu on Saturday on the occasion of the company’s 18th anniversary, he warned Nepal Telecom not to delay the construction of the 4G project and the information highway by laying optical fiber on the Mid-Hills Highway.
Minister Karki also ensured the public that Nepal Telecom will also be available to provide fast, quick and accessible service to its customers by expanding high speed internet service.
