Kathmandu: In the last 24 hours, nine more people have died from the corona virus (Covid-19) infection while 1,714 people have been confirmed infected.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 8,513 samples were tested across the country. The PCR test of 5,225 samples tested positive for 1,103 and the antigen tests of 3,288 tested positive for 611.
In the last 24 hours, 4,771 people have been recovered. Currently, 52,780 people are actively infected across the country. Of these, 51,434 are in home isolation and 1,346 are in institutional isolation.
