Kathmandu: So far, 828 Nepalis have arrived in Kathmandu from Afghanistan.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, five people were rescued from Afghanistan on Sunday evening on a regular flight from Fly Dubai and 45 from a regular flight of Turkish Air and 50 others returned home.
Necessary coordination is underway in the Afghan capital, Kabul, to repatriate more Nepali nationals awaiting rescue, the ministry said.
The Ministry has also requested the Nepalis living in Afghanistan and those who have not registered their names to enter the details by themselves or through their families on the online portal of the Consular Department and on the Viber and WhatsApp numbers of the Consular Services Department.
