Kathmandu: Corona infection has been on the rise in Oman recently.
The Nepal embassy in Oman has also requested for timely vaccination saying that corona infection has been increasing in Oman recently.
Oman is also vaccinating foreign nationals. For that reason, the embassy has issued a notice to Nepalis working in Oman requesting them to get vaccinated through their employer company or sponsor.
Infection of the new variant is spreading rapidly in Oman. Oman’s Supreme Committee for the Prevention of Corona Infection has imposed a nighttime lockdown until July 31. The lockdown will take place from July 16 to July 31 from 6 pm to 4 am.
Oman’s health ministry is issuing daily notices urging people to be vigilant.
