Kathmandu: The Ministry of Home Affairs has started collecting details about the condition of quarantine and isolation centers across the country.
Ministry officials say they have begun collecting data, saying quarantine and isolation may be needed again as coronavirus infections are on the rise in India.
Home Ministry spokesperson Chakra Bahadur Budha told online news that a circular has been issued to update the details of quarantine and isolation centers in all 77 districts.
“We have also asked the Ministry of Health to hold a symposium to help with crowds and gatherings,” Budha said.
He said that the circular also asked them to keep records of those coming to the border and check their health.
A few days ago, the Ministry of Health issued a statement urging people not to hold crowds, gatherings and rallies as the corona infection could spread.
