Kathmandu: In a historic decision, President Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, who presided over COP-28, has officially given the green light to Azerbaijan as the host for the upcoming COP-29. President Al Jaber confirmed the acceptance of Azerbaijan’s proposal to host COP-29 during the 28th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
