Kathmandu: The government has approved the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security to sign bilateral labor agreements with European countries Germany and Romania.
Government Spokesperson and Minister of Communication and Information Technology Rekha Sharma informed that the Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday decided to approve to enter into a labor agreement with these two countries and the delegation led by Labor Minister Sharad Singh Bhandari will participate in this program.
A labor agreement will be signed between Nepal and Romania on Friday. For this, the delegation with the Minister of Labor has departed for Romania today.
In the past three years, more than 10,000 Nepalese have gone to Romania with work permits.
According to the Ministry of Labor, the date of the labor agreement with Germany will be decided as soon as possible.
