Camera and mobile phones are prohibited in polling stations

Kathmandu: The Election Commission has prohibited mobile phones and camers in polling stations.

Issuing a four-point notice for the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly member elections to be held on November 20, the commission has requested voters not to take mobile phones and cameras to the polling stations.

If a voter or other person is found to have brought prohibited items while coming to the polling station, immediate action will be taken.
