Kathmandu: The Agricultural Information and Training Center has informed that 77 percent of rice planting has been completed in the country till end of July.
Prakash Kumar Sanjel, head of the center informed that 90 percent of paddy planting had been completed by this time last year.
Nepal has a total of 13,57,816 hectares arable land. Out of which, only 10,53,404 hectares of land has been planted so far this year.
