Kathmandu: In the last 24 hours, an additional 7,211 people have been confirmed to be infected with the corona virus.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, corona infection is confirmed in 7,211 people on the same day, including 7,137 in 16,147 PCR tests and 74 in 623 antigen tests.
The number of active cases of corona virus has now reached 48,711 across the country. Of which, 3,530 are in institutional isolation while 45,181 people are in home isolation. Of those infected, 477 are in ICU.
Similarly, 2,704 corona infections have been reported in Kathmandu, 550 in Lalitpur, 466 in Rupandehi, 406 in Banke, 301 in Bhaktapur, 249 in Morang, 232 in Kailali and 228 in Dhanusha.
Likewise, Makwanpur 169, Dang 133, Parsa 112, Mahottari 107, Nawalparasi West 80, Chitwan 87, Sunsari 74, Kaski 69, Bardiya 51, Nuwakot 46, Bara 44, Kapilvastu 41, Baitadi 38, Arghakhanchi 37, Arghakhanchi 37 Corona infections are added.
Similarly, 32 each in Siraha and Sindhuli, 28 in Dadeldhura, 27 in Sarlahi, 25 in Daikhel, 24 in Kanchanpur, 23 in Kavrepalanchok, 19 in Nawalparasi East, 19 in Doti, 17 in Saptari, 16 in Gorkha, 14 in Tanahu, 13 in Ramechhap, 11 in Gulmi, 11 in Palpa. Corona infections are added.
Eight each in Ilam, Dolakha, Lamjung and Achham, seven each in Parbat, Myagdi, Calicut, six each in Baglung and Syangja, five each in Udayapur, Rukum East, Rolpa and Salyan, four each in Okhaldhunga and Rasuwa.
Meanwhile, three in Pyuthan, two each in Khotang, Taplejung, Dhankuta, Bhojpur and Mugu, one each in Tehrathum, Panchthar, Sankhuwasabha, Solukhumbu, Dolpa, Rukum West, Darchula and Bajhang have been found infected, according to the health ministry.
Meanwhile, further 27 people have died in the last 24 hours due to corona virus infection.
