Health Ministry directs health workers on study leave to return to work

Kathmandu: The Ministry of Health and Population has directed the health workers on study leave to return to work. The ministry has directed all the health workers who are on study leave to provide services at their respective posts.

A meeting of the ministry held on Sunday decided that all the students studying and teaching in various medical disciplines will be assigned by the concerned universities and colleges for treatment management and could be deployed in other hospitals as per the need.

According to the ministry, it has been decided to make arrangements for PCR testing of those going abroad by all government PCR laboratories and PCR and A class laboratories based in hospitals with a minimum of 100 beds.

The ministry also said in a statement that all laboratories testing the Covid 19 PCR will take samples 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
