Kathmandu: 61 percent of the total population has casted their votes in the House of Representatives and Provincial Assembly elections held on Sunday.
Chief Election Commissioner Dinesh Thapalia said that voting has been postponed in 15 places of Surkhet, Nawalparasi East, Gulmi and Bajura districts.
Surkhet, Nawalparasi East and one polling station in Gulmi district have been postponed while the rest have been postponed in Bajura polling station.
Chief Commissioner Thapalia also said that one person died in Bajura during the election.
