Kathmandu: Thirty electronic devices used for trading cryptocurrency, a digital currency banned in Nepal, have been seized from Tribhuvan International Airport.

A device called ‘Digital Wallet’, which is also used for the purpose of securing cryptocurrency passwords, has been seized at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu.

The airport customs office had sent the goods arrived from Hong Kong to the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) for the investigation.

According to the police, this material is also used to hide other files or passwords in the computer. Officials say the material was purchased online by a person living in Australia and sent to Nepal.
