2,618 more covid cases in last 24 hours

Kathmandu: In the last 24 hours, an additional 2,618 people have been confirmed infected with the corona virus (Covid-19).

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 2,486 people tested positive for 8,668 samples in laboratories across the country and 133 people tested positive for antigens at 1,143 border checkpoints.

At the same time, the total number of infected people has reached 297,087. Currently, 16,828 are actively infected.

In all the three districts of Kathmandu Valley, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Parsa, Kaski, Dang, Banke and Rupandehi, the number of infected people has exceeded 500.

According to the ministry, 14 more people have died from the corona infection. At the same time, the death toll has reached 3136.

According to the ministry, corona infection has been confirmed in 644 people in Kathmandu. Similarly, 352 people in Banke, 268 in Rupandehi, 172 in Dang and 141 in Lalitpur have been infected.
