Kathmandu: In the last 24 hours, an additional 229 people have been confirmed to be infected with the corona virus (Covid-19).
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, when 3,718 samples were tested in laboratories across the country. With this, the total number of active infected has reached 1284.
In the last 24 hours, 48 people have been recovered from the infection.
Among the actively infected people, 1,249 are in home isolation, 35 are in institutional isolation and 14 are in ICU.
According to the ministry, one such person is under treatment in ventilator.
