200,000 dose of vaccine arrives from Maldives

Kathmandu (Rashtriya Samachar Samiti): AstraZeneca vaccine against coronavirus has arrived in Nepal from Maldives.

Two lakh one thousand six hundred vaccines provided by the Maldives government to Nepal arrived in Kathmandu last night.

According to Sagar Dahal, Chief of Child Health and Vaccination Branch, Family Welfare Division, Health Services Department, the vaccines are now kept in the vaccine storage room of the department at Teku.

He said that the rest will be vaccinated. So far, more than 8.6 million people have been vaccinated in the first dose and 7.1 million have been fully vaccinated in Nepal.
