Kathmandu: In the first month of January 2022, 17,000 tourists have visited Nepal.
According to the Nepal Tourism Board, 17,975 tourists visited Nepal in January while in the same period last year, 8,874 people visited Nepal.
Most of the visitors to Nepal are Indian nationals. In January, 3,916 tourists came to Nepal from India. In second place is the United States. A total of 3,257 tourists came to Nepal from the United States.
While 1,824 tourists arrived Nepal from the UK, 1,236 tourists came from Bangladesh.
