Kathmandu: Newly appointed ministers and ministers of state have taken oath of office and secrecy. President Bidhya Devi Bhandari administered the oath of office and secrecy to the 16 ministers appointed on Friday.
Similarly, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba administered the oath of office and secrecy to the two Ministers of State appointed today.
The Council of Ministers has been completed 88 days after the formation of the government led by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.
President Bhandari has formed the Council of Ministers on the recommendation of the Prime Minister in accordance with Article 76, Clause 9 and Article 78, Clause 1 of the Constitution of Nepal.
