Prohibitory order in Kathmandu Valley extended till June 14

Kathmandu: The prohibitory order imposed in the Kathmandu Valley has been extended till June 14.

A meeting of the Chief District Officers of three districts of Kathmandu Valley held today has decided to extend the ban by 10 days till June 14.

As per the today’s decision, no one will be allowed to go out of the house except for urgent services during the restriction period.

The provisions in the added restrictions have been made somewhat flexbile.

Vegetable, fruit, food, milk, dairy, meat, drinking water, gas shops, grocery stores and department stores will be open till 9 am, according to a statement from the administration office.

Vehicles transporting construction materials will be allowed to run from 9 pm to 4 am. Similarly, vehicle repair workshops will be available from 9 pm to 9 am. Other provisions of the order will remain the same before the 14th of this month.
