Number of covid-19 cases in Nepal has exceeded 250,000

Kathmandu: The number of people infected with corona virus in Nepal has exceeded 250,000.

In the last 24 hours, an additional 136 people have been confirmed infected and the total number of infected has reached 250,180, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

Similarly, in the last 24 hours, 1,966 people have returned home free from infection and the number of people evacuated from covid-19 has reached 238,569.

In the last 24 hours, 7,117 PCR tests have been done. At present, 9,881 people are in active isolation in Nepal and 457 are in quarantine, according to the ministry.

The latest outbreak of the coronavirus has killed 14 people. At the same time, the number of deaths due to the infection has reached 1,730.
