Kathmandu: The Government of Nepal has responded to the steps taken by the Army in Myanmar.
Nepal is confident that the democratic and constitutional process will be restored soon.
The Foreign Ministry said in a press release that Myanmar is closely monitoring the situation. Nepal has also expressed concern over the security of President and State Counselor Aung San Suki, who was taken into custody by the military and demanded her immediate release.
