Kathmandu: Rennovation of the Fewa Lake has started after 42 years of gap.

The initial 46-foot-high dam was rebuilt by the Indian Aid Mission and later with the help of the United Nations. The Water Resources and Irrigation Development Division Office is repairing the dam as it has been getting dilapidated for a long time. According to the office, Rs. 20 million has been allocated for the lake irrigation system.

The structure of the dam, which is 795.7 meters above sea level, is 20 meters high. Rs 10 million is for the construction of dams and 10 million canals. The dam will now be repaired with rubber shields and launching aprons.
