Covid-19 vaccine to journalists from Monday

Kathmandu: The government has made arrangements for the media personnel to be vaccinated against corona virus (Covid 19) from Monday.

The Health Emergency Operations Center under the Ministry of Health and Population issued a press release on Sunday stating that arrangements have been made to vaccinate media persons from the Civil Servants Hospital in New Baneshwor. According to the decision of the secretary level meeting held on Sunday, arrangements have been made to vaccinate the journalists.

The Center has also requested to provide the details of all media persons to the Vaccination Secretariat under the Department of Health Services as soon as possible for the five-day vaccination campaign to be conducted from Monday.

Earlier, the government had made arrangements to vaccinate health workers, women volunteers, sanitation workers, ambulance and hearse drivers, prisoners and the elderly in the old age home in the first phase.
