CAAN directs to halt flights of airlines that do not follow covid-19 prevention rules

Kathmandu: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has warned to stop flights of airlines that violate the rules and regulations made for the prevention and control of corona.

The CAAN has issued a warning saying that some airlines have disobeyed even though the Covid-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC) has made it mandatory for the passengers coming and going from abroad to fill the form. CAAN has also stated that the form to be filled by the passengers coming and going to Nepal is on the website of CCMC.

Similarly, in the context of the spread of a new type of corona virus in various countries, including the United Kingdom, it has already been instructed not to carry passengers coming from the United Kingdom and transiting to the United Kingdom.

CAAN has issued notice to all the 31 airlines flying in Nepal. CAAN has also instructed the Tribhuvan International Airport to keep a close watch on the compliance of the directives.
