Kathmandu: Corona virus infection has been confirmed in 9,196 people in the last 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 19,987 PCR tests confirmed the infection, 9,023 and 495 antigen tests confirmed the infection in 73,966 people.
In the last 24 hours, 50 people have died due to corona virus infection and 2,905 people have been recovered.
As of Friday, the number of active cases of corona virus in Nepal has reached 78,629. Out of which 72,769 are in home isolation and 5,860 are in institutional isolation.
Similarly, 728 people are undergoing treatment in ICU and 231 people in ventilator.
As many as 3,579 people have died from the coronavirus as of Friday. Similarly, 295,395 people have recovered so far.
