Kathmandu: The International Watercolor Society (IWS) Nepal is taking the initiative to set a world record through the ‘Art Demonstration’ program.
The IWS Nepal has been working to exhibit and promote the works of Nepali artists in an international platform. In addition, it involves participating Nepali artists in various art programs and inviting famous foreign artists to Nepal and exhibiting their works in Nepal.
In the meantime, it has twice conducted international programs. Various humanitarian assistance programs are being conducted on the initiative of IWS Nepal. Since the outbreak of the Covid-19 epidemic, IWS has been conducting various art exhibitions online.
Meanwhile, IWS Nepal is set to launch a new series. Under this, a new program is being organized. Speaking on the occasion, Dipendraman Banepali, Secretary General of IWS, said that the corona virus and the problems caused by it would be addressed and called for.
The art exhibition will begin from December 8 to 12. A total of 73 Nepali artists will participate in this program which will be conducted through virtual medium. According to IWS the event will be initiated for the world record as the longest relay art demonstration in the world.
It is believed to introduce Nepali artists to the world and resolve to make Nepali art stand tall. There will be an exhibition of works of art made in this online demonstration, identity book of the participating artist and video exhibition.
