Kathmandu: Former Indian captain Virat Kohli has created a record in T20 World Cup.

Kohli, who has been in great form lately, scored 64 runs against Bangladesh on Wednesday and scored 1065 runs in his career, setting the record for the highest number of runs in the World in T20.

He scored 64 runs not out with 8 fours and 1 six while playing 44 balls in the fourth match of the Super 12 on Wednesday under T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia.

He returned to his old form after scoring a century against Afghanistan in Asia Cup 2022.

While making the most runs in the T-20 World Cup, on Wednesday (November 2) he scored 16 more runs against Bangladesh and broke the record of Mahela Jayawardene of Sri Lanka who made the most runs in the T-20 World Cup.

Earlier in the history of T20 World Cup, Jayawardene was the top scorer with 1016 runs.
