Kathmandu: The government has decided to provide vaccine against corona virus to students appearing for university exams.
A meeting of the secretaries of the Ministry of Health and Population held on Wednesday has decided to vaccinate the students participating in the examinations of Tribhuvan University and other universities against corona.
As per the decision, the department has asked the health directorate, all state and district health offices to arrange vaccination. Vaccinating students must bring their admission card with them.
TU is currently conducting undergraduate and postgraduate examinations, while other universities are also conducting examinations. Stating that there is a fear of spreading the infection from the examination center, the examinees staged a protest program demanding vaccination.
