Kathmandu: The Secretariat meeting of the CPN (UML) has concluded. According to party Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali, the meeting held on Sunday under the chairmanship of party chair KP Sharma Oli, concluded that the incumbent government should not move ahead to political revenge.
While sharing the decisions of the meeting, Gyawali said that the government is trying to impose restrictions without coordinating with political parties. Deputy General Secretary Gyawali informed that the meeting strongly objected to the government’s decision to ban party chair and former Prime Minister Oli and four others from leaving the Kathmandu Valley and going abroad.
He also informed that the UML would call another secretariat meeting for further discussions on contemporary issues immediately after Dashain festival. Meanwhile, party’s central committee meeting has been scheduled for October 13-15.
