Two mountaineers die while scaling Mt. Everest

Kathmandu: Two moutaineers who had scaled Mt Everest this morning have died while decending. According to the Department of Tourism, Abdul Wahed Warich, a Swiss climber who had returned to the South Summit after completing the ascent, died at the same place.

Meanwhile, American citizen Liu Puwei also died in Camp 4. He had a problem when he reached the Hillary step while going on the ascent. He died on the way when he was brought back to Camp 4.

More than 150 climbers have successfully climbed Mt. Everest this year. The favorable weather for the ascent is over for now. Meanwhile, others are waiting for suitable weather to ascent.
