Tragic bus accident in Nepal: 15 bodies recovered, dozens missing after buses swept away in Trishuli River

Kathmandu: On Friday morning, two buses, Angel Deluxe heading from Birgunj to Kathmandu and Ganpati Deluxe heading from Kathmandu to Gaur, were swept away in the Trishuli River near Simle, Chitwan.

Among the 65 passengers on board, three have been rescued safely, while 62 are reported missing. So far, 15 bodies have been recovered from various locations along the riverbank, with armed police identifying eight of them.

The search for the remaining seven bodies is ongoing, as confirmed by the District Police Office in Chitwan.
