Traffic police take action against 51 students

Kathmandu: Traffic police has taken action against 51 college students on Wednesday for voilating traffic rules.

Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office has informed that 51 college students were taken into action during the traffic police checking conducted on Wednesday.

Keeping in mind the safety of the college students, the office has conducted a traffic check campaign.

According to the police, 27 people who were prosecuted did not have a driver’s license, three people were driving a vehicle without carrying the required documents and 21 riders were prosecuted for various other offences.

In the same way, 107 water tanker drivers, four ambulance drivers and 216 other vehicle drivers who violated the traffic rules were also punished by the traffic police during regular morning checks.
