Tourists stranded at Lukla airport due to poor weather condition

Kathmandu: Tourists have stranded at Lulka, Solukhumbu for last few days. Due to adverse weather, some 150 visitors returning to Kathmandu have been stuck for nine days.

The aircraft has been unable to operate due to bad weather since last Sunday.

As the aircraft are being unable to operate foreign tourists began pouring to the district headquarters in Salleri.

Following the cancellation of all flights from Tenzing Hillary Airport, some visitors began walking from Lukla to Kathmandu through Salleri.
