Tourism Minister requests India to provide more air routes to Nepal

Kathmandu: Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Sudan Kirati has requested India to provide more air access routes to Nepal.

He made this request while meeting Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava at the Ministry on Friday.

Nepal currently has only one air entry point which has to handle lots of flight pressure.

Currently aircraft arriving Nepal can only enter from Simara point. For a long time, Nepal has been asking for a route from Bhairahawa, Nepalganj and Mahendranagar so that airplanes can enter.
