Kathmandu: Advance ticket booking has started from today for those leaving the Kathmandu Valley to celebrate Dashain.

People who want to go home in Dashain have reached the new bus park in Gongabu to get tickets since morning. Advance tickets are being sold following the social distance.

The Department of Transport Management had decided to open advance ticket booking for long-distance vehicles from September 27 after discussions with transport entrepreneurs, consumer rights activists and traffic police.

As online booking has also been arranged, both the department and transportation entrepreneurs have requested the passengers to book their tickets online as much as possible.
