Kathmandu: A teacher has been arrested in Kanchanpur on charge of sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl.
Madhuvilas Dhungana, 53, a teacher of Mahakali Secondary School in Belauri Municipality-6 has been arrested for sexually abusing a girl studying in class 6 of the same school.
According to the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, Deputy Superintendent of Police Amar Bahadur Thapa said that the teacher has been accused of sexually abusing a girl at the school around 11 am on Wednesday.
The office said that the accused teacher was arrested after the victim’s family lodged a complaint against Dhungana.
