Kathmandu: The trophy of the ICC Men’s T-20 Cricket World Cup 2022 to be held in Australia was displayed at Bhaktapur Durbar Square on Wednesday.
In coordination with the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), the World Cup trophy has been placed in Bhaktapur Darbar Square, which is listed in the World Heritage List.
Students from different schools also participated in the program. The local residents welcomed the trophy with cultural music and dances.
Mehbub Alam, Sharad Bheshwakar, the former player of the Nepali national team, Rubina Chhetri, the captain of the women’s team including others have also participated in the trophy tour.
The Cricket World Cup trophy arrived in Nepal on Monday.
