Kathmandu: The downtrend of the stock market continued on Monday, the first trading day of the week.
The market has declined by 15.82 points to 2032.34 points. After the budget , the market has increased only one day, but on other days it has been continuously declining.
A total of 2,920,705 shares of 230 companies were traded in 20,774 transactions on Monday.
The transaction amount, which has reached Rs 1 billion on other days except Friday, has shrunk to Rs 998.67 million on Monday.
Investors in most life insurance companies are in loss.
