Kathmandu: Italy have reached the final of Euro Cup 2020 by defeating Spain in a penalty shootout.
Italy beat Spain 4-2 in the first semifinal last night after two Spanish players missed penalties.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw at Wembley Stadium in London after the scheduled 90 minutes and extra time ended in a 1-1 draw.
Spain has lost in the semi-finals for the first time in the World Cup and Euro Cup. Spain, the three-time Euro Cup winners with Germany, will not be able to win the title for the fourth time.
Italy will now play the winner of the match between England and Denmark for the title.
