South Korea extends $300,000 humanitarian aid to quake-hit Jajarkot and Rukum East in Nepal

Kathmandu:

In a benevolent gesture, the Government of the Republic of Korea has committed to extending humanitarian aid valued at US $300,000 to assist those impacted by the recent earthquake in Jajarkot and Rukum East within Karnali Province.

As conveyed by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Nepal, this assistance is anticipated to play a crucial role in swiftly restoring stability to the lives of the earthquake-affected individuals and aiding in the recovery of the affected areas.

Prior to this humanitarian commitment, the Korean Foreign Minister and President conveyed separate messages of condolence to their counterparts in Nepal, expressing solidarity and empathy in the aftermath of the Jajarkot earthquake.
